Cadet Hat refers to a style of Hat similar in many ways to a Baseball Cap, however, the Cadet Hat can be distinguished by its more cylindrical body and shorter brim.

Cadet Hat was made in great numbers for troops in World War II, which is generally olive in color. It is reminiscent of the Civil War Calvary Cap, but altered for mass production. Recently, the Cadet Hat has become popular in the civilian sector, appearing in more colors than drab olive and more fabrics than rip-stop cotton.
