- Buy-Out (Buy Out) : Buy Out is a modeling term referring to an agreement between a Model and client that states the client will pay the Model an additional fee (usually in addition to the model's day or hourly rate) to use his/her pictures for multiple usages (print, web, packaging, etc.) without having to pay the model residuals.
