Allen B. Schwartz refers to a designer and the founder and Design Director of A.B.S.

Allen B. Schwartz began his adventure into the fashion world at the age of 16. Schwartz moved from Brooklyn to Manhattan to become a fashion designer. He was first employed at Russ Toggs, moving up and toward Esprit de Corp. In which he founded the brand and spent 10 years at the helm growing the business in San Francisco. In 1982, Schwartz struck out on his own, moved to Los Angeles and launched A.B.S. by Allen Schwartz, a brand offering couture fashion at a more affordable price point. The media and fashion buyers quickly hailed Schwartz "the master of trend".

The media also widely covered Schwartz and aided him in reaching a national and international audience. He appears regularly on Entertainment Tonight as a style expert, as well as frequent fashion segments on CNBC, CNN, the Today Show and Oprah. Schwartz and A.B.S. also receive consistent editorial coverage in the major fashion magazines, namely Vogue, Teen Vogue, InStyle, Cosmopolitan, Elle, to name a few. He was recognized by Forbes Magazine as heading one of the nation's fastest growing fashion companies.
