Christian Audigier founded the wildly popular Ed Hardy brand in 2004 after leaving Von Dutch which he had singlehandedly turned into a cult label with the creation of the trucker-cap trend. He was granted the exclusive rights to the tattoo designs of Don Ed Hardy. With Ed Hardy brand, Audigier not only created a brand, but a lifestyle of street couture.
Ed Hardy amassed a number of celebrity fans all over the world from Madonna, Michael Jackson, Britney Spears, Justin Timberlake, Paris Hilton to Kanye West and Beyonce were all seen wearing this funky Los Angeles label. The rhinestone embellished creations became a must-have clothing for everyone . Author's Note: My whole family in Texas went crazy about Ed Hardy, so all of them bought Ed Hardy T-Shirt and wear them for a picture taking. Here in Germany, I have already spotted a lovely Ed Hardy bag which I am dreaming to own.
