Porkpie Hat is a kind of Hat which is part of the classic attire of American jazz and blues musicians. It has a short, indented Top and sometimes has a band. It is made of felt or st raw and has a short flat-topped gambler crown and a very small brim that can be snapped down in front or worn up all around. Today these hats are often worn by jazz or blues aficionados.

Porkpie is more circular hat than the Fedora which considered as Porkpie relatve.Porkpie has a small indent all the way around the inside of the top of the crown, instead of the length-wise crease. The Porkpie is named after pig farmers, which gives this shape a classic American farm belt feel.
